Caristrap Europe is committed to supplying our customers with best in class products and services and building solid foundations for long term cooperation. Our goal is to deliver these products on time, competitively priced, and with the highest quality in which we have built our reputation on since the founding in 2006. As a service to customers we provide technical advice, training, developing and testing of new solutions. To make sure that end-users know how to apply efficiently textile polyester strapping and are aware of the proper and save use, we offer to our partners a “Train the trainer” program. We understand that only trained staff with excellent skills can improve safety work practices, while reducing your operational costs. Depending on its strength, strapping is designated for almost any industry: lumber, paper, recycling, agriculture, metal, automotive etc. On demand, all our products can be customized with printing, as well as with your own box or pallet labels. Additional, woven strapping can be fully colored. We also offer hotmelt strapping. In our own laboratory equipped with Instron tensile machine, all products and raw materials are regularly tested during production process. We use ASTM test methods, which includes breaking strength test, elongation test and joint breaking strength test (in combination with a buckle).

Our company was founded in 1864 as F. Ossenberg & Co. KG, and is now in its fifth generation of family ownership. Since the acquisition by Julius Grefe KG in 1997, we have traded under the name "Ossenberg & Grefe". We are naturally certified in accordance with ISO 9001. The original manufacturing programme for both companies consisted of buckles, rings and hooks for the textile and leather processing sector. Over time, articles for other areas of application were added to the product range. Today, alongside our standard range of products, we specialise in the manufacturing of wire-bending, punching and assembly products for more than 1000 customers from a wide variety of sectors. To this end, our 60-strong team manufacture approximately 500, 000 parts a day over a production area of 5000 m². Thanks to our versatile machining options, in-house tool manufacturing facilities and electroplating equipment, we are able to find quick and cost-effective solutions to complex challenges.
