arcotest GmbH is a test ink manufacturer. Test inks enable users to determine the surface energy/surface tension of solids made of plastic, metal, glass or ceramic. This then allows the surface's adhesion potential for printing, bonding or varnishing to be determined using the wetting image. Providing specialist advice, guaranteeing specified values, making deliveries reliably and promptly, and collaborating with our customers nationally and internationally – these have been the foundations of our business for 40 years. For quality assurance purposes, the inks are tested using a state-of-the-art contact angle measurement device, taking into account the temperature and density. Safety data sheets provide information about handling, storage and transport regulations.

Founded by my grandfather in 1946, our family-run company has been continually developing ever since in line with the market requirements – from a spare parts manufacturer for the mining industry to an inter- nationally renowned specialist in power transmission engineering. With over 25 years of experience and expertise, we have specialised in aluminium surface finishing in particular and are certified under DIN ISO 9001. We provide various technologies, such as oxidation and anodisation, both colourlessly and in dip dyeing in a continuously available large selection of colours. Our services include partial finishing for aluminium components as a combined process of chromatising and oxidising and anodising, as well as chromatising in yellow and REACH-compliant colourless passivation for aluminium with SurTec 650. Furthermore, our services also include pickling, passivating and electro-polishing stainless steel. At our modern plant, we can process components with dimensions of 2000 mm in length, 600 mm in width and 1000 mm in depth.
