Martinrea Honsel is a leading global supplier of light metal products, primarily for the automotive industry. The company produces aluminium components for the engine, transmission, chassis and body of cars and commercial vehicles, as well as for mechanical engineering and other applications using all common casting and rolling production processes. Components from the company reduce vehicle weight, fuel consumption and emissions, and make a significant contribution to environmental protection. Today, Martinrea Honsel employs around 4100 people in 13 plants across five countries. The rolling mill in Meschede is known worldwide as a supplier of aluminium surfaces in the area of bright and anodised materials as well as aluminium plates and rounds. The products are used in exterior components and interior fittings for cars and commercial vehicles, as well as in machine and plant construction, decorative front panels for furniture, suitcases, reflectors for lights, cosmetics packaging and much more. As a niche and specialist producer of high-quality semi-finished rolled products and stamped blanks, the development expertise practised with customers over many years is one of the company's strengths. Within the scope of product development, individual solutions are developed together with the customer, e.g. special material properties, special dimensional accuracy and customer-specific surface requirements for series application.
